Princely Family
The Princely House of Liechtenstein is one of the oldest existing noble families in Europe. The family has over 100 members, only some of whom live in the Principality of Liechtenstein.
Reigning Prince Hans-Adam II and Princess Marie, née Countess Marie Kinsky von Wchinitz and Tettau, have four children: Hereditary Prince Alois, Prince Maximilian, Prince Constantin, and Princess Tatjana. As the eldest son, Hereditary Prince Alois, who is married to Duchess Sophie of Bavaria, will succeed to the throne. The Reigning Prince is also the sovereign of the Princely House and watches over "reputation, honor, and welfare" in accordance with the Law on the Princely House. Reigning Prince Hans-Adam II also administers the assets of the Princely Family. In addition to the valuable art collections, these include various enterprises in banking, estate management, and forestry.
